Before you cover

Healed skin only. Every time.

  1. Wait until it’s closed. No scabs, stitches, weeping or fresh ink. If you’re not sure, ask your doctor or your artist first.
  2. Try a small piece first. Wear it for a few hours on the spot you plan to cover before a full day.
  3. Take it off if your skin reacts. Redness, itching or a rash means stop and let the skin rest.
  4. Start clean and dry. No lotion or oil on the spot, or it won’t hold.

Questions

Will the Scar sheet make my scar go away?

We won’t promise that. Silicone sheeting is an FDA-recognized product type for managing healed, raised scars. Before launch we’ll publish exactly what our sheets are listed and tested for, in plain words, and nothing more.

Can I use it on a fresh tattoo?

No. A new tattoo needs to heal the way your artist tells you. Cover is for tattoos that are fully healed.

How do I pick my shade?

Look at the skin right next to the scar or tattoo, in daylight, and match that, not your face. Can’t decide between cool and warm? Start with a try-on pair. Or text a photo and we’ll match you.

When can I buy it?

Scar and Cover aren’t on sale yet. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when they’re ready. The more people ask for a shade, the sooner we stock it.
