FreeStyle Libre 3 and Libre 3 Plus sensors: some may read too low

Affected
Certain FreeStyle Libre 3 and FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensors made on one U.S. production line. Abbott checks them by the sensor's serial number.
The problem
Some sensors may show glucose readings that are falsely low. Treating a low that isn't real (like eating sugar or skipping insulin) can lead to high blood sugar.
What to do
Enter your sensor's serial number on Abbott's lookup. If it's affected, stop using it and ask Abbott for a free replacement. Throw away any sensors that have already expired.

Dexcom G7 sensors from two stolen lots

Affected
Dexcom G7 sensors from lots 1725204004 and 1725069002. These were meant to be destroyed, were stolen, and were resold by third parties.
The problem
Lot 1725204004 may not be properly sterilized, which raises the risk of a skin infection. Lot 1725069002 may not give sensor readings.
What to do
If your box has one of these lot numbers, don't use it. Confirm on Dexcom's lookup and call Dexcom for a replacement.

Omnipod

Omnipod 5 Pods: some may leak insulin inside the Pod

Affected
Omnipod 5 Pods from certain lots. The lot number is on the side of the 5-pack box, the Pod tray lid, or the flat side of the Pod.
The problem
A small tear in the Pod's internal tubing can let insulin leak inside the Pod instead of reaching your body. That can cause high blood sugar and, if not caught, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
What to do
Check your lot on Insulet's lookup. If it's affected, stop using those Pods and contact Insulet for replacements.
